Born and raised in the highlands of Peru, Gabriela Quiroz’s fascination with stories, arts, and film began at a very young age.
After graduating college with honors, she studied Journalism at the Universidad Nacional de San Agustin in Peru, and then moved to America to study film.
By the time she graduated in Film Directing from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 2013, she had worked on over thirty short films, commercials, and a television pilot. Also, she had completed some relevant internships, including shadowing Hollywood director Raja Gosnell, and working for the International Film Trust at The Marche Du film at Cannes.
Currently, Gabriela works for J.J. Abrams at Bad Robot Productions.
